Guessing B.J. Emmons didn't get the memo about this not being a full contact practice. He's trying to run everybody over.

Things just go physical as B.J. Emmons and Tony Brown collided.

Offensive lines are being mauled by the defensive lines. Not sure if I should be excited or concerned.

Bateman had a man deep but the ball floated on him and allowed the defender to catch up and knock it down.

Blake Barnett just threw a dime to Trevon Diggs in the end zone while on the run. Placed it right over Tony Brown's outstretched hand.

Bateman seems to have trouble throwing accurate balls without having his feet set. Just missed a man by 5 yards on a rollout. #Alabama

I'm sure to be wrong abt this as the season plays out, but to my eyes, Jalen Hurts is the best quarterback I've seen today. Just my opinion.

I know it's early but I am sorry, I'm team Blake Barnett all the way. The combination of the great play today, plus I thought Cooper Bateman was REALLY bad last year.

Practice over. From what we've heard, it's Barnett vs Hurts. Suttles and Marq Burnett said Hurts looked the best today.

This makes sense since Hurts was the best looking in the spring game as well.

I'm team whoever the frick wins us games, but from the reports today, it seems as though Hurts is in it as much as anyone at this point.

Just keep in mind, this is all practice and not a scrimmage. BB8 was killing it this time last year, but slipped up in scrimmage. I'm not picking a side, just saying we still have quite a few practices and scrimmages to go.
