You can’t really scheme around being down your top 2 receivers at the college level. There’s like 2 or 3 teams every decade that can roll 4 or 5 deep with NFL talent at that position. We’ve been lucky enough in the past to be one of them. Reps still help, when you have two clear cut alphas it’s only going to hinder the development of the younger guys by default.

Don’t let 60 minutes change your mind about what this team was over the course of the season and why we gnashed our teeth all year. They overachieved being here/it was a down year in CFB. It was an inconsistent, undisciplined team. Despite that, at full strength they were far and away the best team in the country.

We won the iron bowl, and we will always be the 2021 SEC champions. It sucks losing in the natty, but this one was easier to stomach than 2018 (despite UGA fans being much more obnoxious than CU fans). We were playing with house money, I don’t see how this team isn’t much improved next season- which, again, will be an improvement from the best team in the country in 2021. They were maddening to watch at times, but they were still the best CFB had to offer. We’ll be back next year, Georgia will take their arse whipping in Atlanta and then go play in some central Florida bowl game. It’s a long way to September, that’s what sucks the most. Never fun losing the last one
