Say what you want, Jalen played just well enough to win and got revenge for the last second loss the year before. Yes Tua is amazing, but maybe we don't win if he's under center. Maybe he throws too many picks, lets Clemson get in rhythm, etc.

Give Jalen his due. He's led us to wins in key games over the last two years. Yes he's limited. Yes Tua should be taking over, but Jalen has had notable wins.

Won't do any good man...We ve got people on here who subscribe to a double standard. That being said , u are correct. Wish people could act like the 2 young men who play QB for us. They have brought out the best in each other.

No the defense led the team well enough for him to not get benched in that game. Spencer Pennington could have been behind center and we would’ve beaten Clemson.

The defense held them to six points, got a pick six, and were constantly giving the offense good field position. So yeah he’s correct.

I think he is corrext, I just get tired of all the Jalen bashing. He did get revenge against them...as did everybody else. I guess I could say that the defense owed him one for 2016 when he gave them the lead with 2:00 left in the game and they couldn't get a stop.

Really no need for people to keep piling on Hurts. He handled the switch with more class than anyone would expect for a 19 yr old kid. Certain posters could learn a few things about class from him.

You mean the game when we went 3 and out close to 20 times? That defense owes no one anything.

I'm sick of people pilling on Jalen too, but so many of the people defending Jalen will then pile on other players. We play, lose, and win as a team. What is hard to understand about this?

I hate all the bashing, too. Some people want to blame Jalen for everything. How people Can rag on him after watching how he reacted to being pulled in the biggest game of the year is amazing. The kid deserves our respect if for no other reason than the class he has shown as a representative of the University of Alabama. I wish him nothing but the best in whatever he does. But Tua is the absolute truth!!

Why does the CU loss have to be about Jalen's revenge?

Last I checked, there were other players currently on the team that lost to clemson last year as well.

Quite a few of those players played Defense. And in that regard, yes, the defense did get revenge.
