Do you think we have a shot with Eric Gray, who we recently offered?
I haven't heard anything on him yet.

I agree. Negative recruiting about our RB depth may be the problem. Bama needs to show 2019 RB prospects that ALL of our RBs, except Ford, will likely be in the NFL after the 2019 season.
2018 Roster - Running Back (6)
SR: Damien Harris, Ronnie Clark (RS)
JR: Josh Jacobs
SO: Najee Harris, Brian Robinson
FR: Jerome Ford

Three-Point Stance: The Grayson Four, NFL Draft steals and surprises

Rivals.com National Recruiting Director Mike Farrell’s thought-provoking Three-Point Stance is here with a look at the Grayson four, some NFL Draft steals and some names that were surprisingly not called.

1. The Grayson Four
The Grayson Four committed on Tuesday and here’s my breakdown of what each commitment means:
LB Owen Pappoe – This is a huge get for Auburn and a kid who could grow into the next Roquan Smith-undersized linebacker in the SEC. He’s been a star since middle school, he’s a huge name in this class so he will help recruiting and he hurts UGA as he was coveted by the Dawgs. His name recognition alone will boost recruiting and will help Auburn’s efforts in Georgia. As recently as the beginning of this year, it appeared Georgia was the team to beat, so this is a great recruiting job.
OL Wayna Morris – I like Morris a lot and think he has a very high ceiling. Once he fills out his frame, especially his upper body, he will be elite as his technique is off the charts. This is a huge get for Tennessee as it will help recruiting efforts in the Atlanta area and give the Vols quite a bit of momentum for the 2019 class. This hurts Auburn as it made a serious run at Morris and thought it had taken the lead.
DB Kenyatta Watson – Watson is a tall, athletic defensive back from the Southeast so that’s a huge deal for Texas as it attempts to recruit the area. Texas doesn’t need to recruit nationally, but it helps to land players from the Southeast and this will draw more interest from Georgia recruits to the Longhorns. This hurts not only Florida State, where he was previously committed, but also Notre Dame, which made a very strong push. But I can't stress enough the importance of this commitment for future recruiting in the Southeast; this is huge.
DE Kevin Harris – Harris was all over the map in his recruiting looking at LSU, Miami and others before he chose Alabama. He’s a hybrid and reminds me a bit of Tim Williams and I especially like his motor. The kid never stops moving. As he fills out, his length and speed will remain and he could be a terror off the edge. This hurts Miami especially as the ‘Canes were thought to be the team to beat even as recently as a few days prior to his commitment.

Alabama finished seventh in the 2018 class recruiting rankings, but expect the Crimson Tide to be back on top in 2019. With the recent success at A-Day from Joseph Bulovas, will Bama pass on the No. 1 kicker in this class? @AndyPTA91

One of the more pleasant surprises for Alabama fans two weekends ago at the A-Day game was Joseph Bulovas’ success in the kicking game. Bulovas, a redshirt freshman, made field goals of 33, 49, 26, 35 and 48 yards while kicking for both sides during the scrimmage. He missed from 47 and 43 yards. He also sent numerous kickoffs into or through the end zone.
Bulovas was named a co-MVP along with redshirt freshman quarterback Mac Jones. Nick Saban commented on Bulovas’ improvement throughout spring ball. “Joe missed two, he didn’t miss by much,” Saban said. “The wind blew one out. I was encouraged by how he did all spring long. He showed consistency in both scrimmages and practice.”
That brings us to the 2019 recruiting class. The Tide are heavily recruiting Will Reichard, the nation’s No. 1 kicker from Hoover (Ala.) High School. Reichard has a top 3 of Alabama, Georgia and LSU.
Alabama offered Reichard earlier this spring and there has been no indication of the Tide slowing down their recruitment of Reichard after Bulovas’ success. Alabama has been planning on taking a kicker in this class and nothing has changed.
Noted kicking instructor Chris Sailer has rated Reichard the nation’s No. 1 kicker since Reichard’s freshman year.

I just think if Reichard is as good as these kicking experts say he is, Alabama isn’t going to turn him down even with Bulovas’ success in the spring game.
