A little better recruiting skills??? That means it would still suck We need a lot better recruiting skills

I think we are going to take more than six more. Unless you are saying we hold onto Jackson and Walker.

I think we keep Jackson and Quay flips.

Both Alabama and Louisibama have strong classes in 2019. Therefore, our recruiting should be strong as well.

Mississippi is loaded too.

We should snag one or two from there.

Some predictions from Jimmy Smith on LSU's recruiting finish:

quote:

Kelvin Joseph, DB, 6-2, 213, Scotlandville
Joseph de-committed from LSU in the fall so he could take a fair look at other programs, but shortly after that process began, Joseph realized that his heart is in Baton Rouge.
LSU's confidence level is high, although Alabama continues to lurk around. Joseph may take another visit or two prior to signing day, but we expect him to ink with the Tigers.

Patrick Surtain Jr., CB, 6-2, 185, American Heritage HS, Plantation, Fla.
LSU remains the leader for Surtain's services -- a position they have held for the majority of his recruitment.
A lot of schools are mentioned as possibilities for Surtain, but Alabama may be the biggest threat for swiping the nation's premier cornerback from the Tigers grasp, but nobody around the 6-2, 185-pounder gives the Crimson Tide much of a chance, which keeps LSU in the lead.

No inside info but something tells me we push for K. Joseph. Just wouldn't be right not to get one from our home state.

Harold Joiner, RB, 6-3, 220, Mountain Brook HS, Birmingham, Ala.
Joiner's recruitment has been difficult to project, but LSU has been in a strong position during much of that span. The Tigers are his current leader, but his reluctance to publicly commit is strange to say the least. We do see him signing with LSU, but it would not be surprising to see that change at some point.

For real.
I don’t want another RB over 5’10”.

I like Crouch better, but our commit Sanders is 6-1 also, rated #1 by some.

That was my first thought. He's top of our board with Cain. Big Gurley fan
