Quick question are those guys with nice highlights or guys you think we have a shot at? Some of those guys we weren't on the list with.

?Alabama has extended an offer to 2019 four-star offensive tackle Bryan Hudson during an unofficial visit on Monday.
A product of Georgetown (Ky.) Scott County, Hudson holds just a small handful of offers at this juncture in his recruitment. Kentucky and Louisville appear to be of highest interest.
At 6-foot-5, 292 pounds, Hudson is rated the No. 11 tackle and the No. 91 overall player in the country, per 247Sports. He's currently trending to Kentucky at 100 percent on the 247Sports Crystal Ball.

Oh my bad I worded that terribly. On the 247 profile the list of schools that they are interested in. We weren't on couple of them.

Wow! Feels like we are chasing and having to make up ground with almost everyone after the big staff turnover. It will be interesting to see how we close with this class. The streak is definitely in jeopardy.

Oh. Don't worry about that.
I used to follow that feature until I found out that every mod on the 247 can edit those things.
So it's basically worthless. I even read a post from a mod last year where he said he changed a kid's interest to "Hot" for a team because he wore their gloves to a camp. He didn't even have that school in his Top 5 a week later if I remember correctly.

The JUCO TE, Dominick Wood-Anderson, will be in Tuscaloosa today.

Coynis Miller tells BOL he loves the way Alabama practices and sees the need we have for defensive linemen.
His coach, however, is a huge Auburn fan.

Franklin (Ga.) Heard County quarterback Emory Jones has been the subject of “flip” talk lately, especially after he was recently at Alabama. However, Jones took to twitter today to say he is 110% a Buckeye.

Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and a few other schools continue to recruit Jones.
The 6-foot-2 and 193-pound Jones is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 27 overall prospect, the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback, and the No. 4 prospect in Georgia.

ALPHA DOG
Trey Hill of Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County once again showed why he is the No. 40 overall recruit nationally in the industry generated 247Sports Composite — and is someone capable of moving up.
He’s a monster at offensive guard. At 6-feet-3.5, 346 pounds, Hill isn’t just an immovable force, he’s someone with great feet and terrific overall body quickness. After the snap, he’s almost instantaneously in position every time, and his punch comes fast and with power that you don’t see from linemen his age very often.
More often than not, the stone-faced Hill owned the competition Sunday in one-on-ones and more than once used his extreme strength to force the opposition into the turf. He didn’t just win reps, he owned them.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball gives Georgia a decided edge, but Clemson, Florida State and perhaps Auburn also are factors in his recruitment.

EYE-CATCHERS ON OFFENSE
quote:
-James Foster, QB, Montgomery (Ala.) Lanier: This might have been Foster’s best camp outing to date. While he’s still not completely quick and fluid with his feet, his arm was sharp. Foster spins it well and impressed with his velocity and placement. More than a few of his passes were thrown to where only the receiver could grab it.

quote:
Matthew Hill, WR, Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood: Hills probably had the best natural hands of any receiver on hand. He also is blessed with terrific speed, which allows him to get the separation he needs, particularly on deeper routes.

quote:
Kearis Jackson, WR, Fort Valley (Ga.) Peach County: A compactly built 5-feet-11.5, 203-pound receiver, Jackson arguably was the most impressive receiver on hand — and earned an Under Armour All-America Game invite with his performance. We were most impressed with his ball get-off, his ability to separate out of a break and his concentration when the ball approached.

quote:
Asa Martin, RB, Decatur (Ala.) Austin: One thing has become clear the past two weeks: There aren’t many (if any) running backs in the country who catch the ball out of the backfield as well as Martin. He looks as natural doing that as taking handoffs.
Posted on 4/4/17 at 11:45 am to TideSaint
quote:
Tae Provens, RB, Madison County (Ala.): Like Martin, Provens best trait might be his versatility. He is excellent in the open field, particularly because of his dangerous one-cut ability.
