For the love of God, can we get Parks up here now?

Unfortunately for Parks I don't think this will affect his status.

He's being held back from the 25 rule, not the 85 rule.

Who's next?

Alabama has just two commitments so far in the 2018 class with Memphis OLB Jordan Davis (pictured) and Hollywood, Fla., WR Xavier Williams. Here, we look at some prospects who could jump on board soon.

Jalyn Armour-Davis, DB, Mobile

The St. Paul's four-star was going to commit to either Alabama, Auburn or Florida State two weeks ago, but postponed it. Alabama is still in the driver's seat for Armour-Davis, who should still commit this summer.

Jalen Cunningham, DL, St. Clair County

The massive nose guard has dropped some weight and Alabama coaches want to be sure he can do that. A summer decision is still likely for Cunningham, who has Alabama as his No. 1.

Asa Martin, RB, Decatur

The four-star running back camped at Alabama on Tuesday. He's down to a final three of Auburn, Alabama and Florida and plans an Aug. 24 announcement.

Coynis Miller, DL, Birmingham

The four-star defensive end from Jackson-Olin could commit before his senior season. It's not a guarantee, but Alabama feels good about where things stand.

Penei Sewell, OL, Salt Lake City, Utah

The elite offensive tackle is the nation's No. 56 prospect and visited for camp with his family. Alabama isn't going to load up on offensive linemen in this class, but will try the elites first.

I may have to slip Sewell some cash when I'm down in Salt Lake City next month.

Myles Mason, DB, Hewitt-Trussville

Mason, who recently announced his decision to transfer from Pleasant Grove, will camp for Alabama in July. If given the go-ahead then, he'll likely choose the Crimson Tide.

Zamir White, RB, Laurinburg, N.C.

It may seem like an extreme longshot to get the five-star ranked No. 5 nationally, but he just visited with his mother and will pick between Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State (and maybe others). Getting White on campus before his June 27 announcement date was huge.

Quay Walker, LB, Cordele, Ga.

Many feel like Alabama has the momentum for the four-star prospect. The outside linebacker left Auburn's Big Cat Weekend declining interviews from reporters. He was on the way to Tuscaloosa. It's unclear when he could commit, but summer is a possibility.

JJ Peterson, LB, Moultrie, Ga.

The nation's No. 40 overall prospect is a talented outside linebacker for Rush Propst. He says Alabama is his leader and while he may wait until after the season, it's possible he commits to the Crimson Tide earlier.

Other possibilities

It's a good bet that Alabama will add a quarterback and punter before the season starts. Alabama offered Tennessee punter commit Skyler DeLong recently, and is trying to flip Utah commit Jack Tuttle (pictured, courtesy 247Sports). Other potential commits in the near future include Lee-Montgomery linebacker KeVontae Ruggs, JUCO DL Emmit Gooden, Mobile DE Andres Fox, Alpharetta, Ga., cornerback Jaycee Horn, Covington, Ga., defensive lineman Darnell Jefferies and Cordova, Tenn., offensive lineman Jerome Carvin.

All joking aside, if we were to land the guys listed in the above article we would jump up to 216 points on 247. That would be good enough for the #5 ranked class.

Seeing as we are highly unlikely to land Zamir White I took him off the class calculator and came up with 196 points. That's still good enough for #7.

That 25 rule is BS. Since they passed a rule saying power 5 teams can't cut players based on performance, seems like they should do away with the 25 rule
