Justyn Ross, WR, Phenix City (Ala.) Central

Many believe the state's top player will end up at either Alabama or Auburn. Clemson has made noise as of late. Ross will narrow his list down this summer when his mother returns home from overseas deployment.

Isaac Taylor-Stuart, CB, San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine

Taylor-Stuart named Alabama his leader last July on an unofficial visit. He's since backed off naming teams atop his list as other programs have become more heavily involved.

I really hope we land this kid.

JJ Peterson, OLB, Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County

Peterson said the Tide had the edge in his recruitment earlier this spring. Auburn and Georgia are working to keep the race close. The nation's top outside linebacker plans to visit Tuscaloosa, Athens and Auburn again at the end of May.

Eyabi Anoma, WDE, Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy

Anoma visited Tuscaloosa in April and left impressed. There's no timetable for a decision, but a source in the East Coast defender's camp says the Tide is near, if not at, the top of the list.

Jacob Copeland, WR, Pensacola (Fla.) Escambia

Copeland has Alabama in his top five, and was given royal treatment at A-Day riding alongside head coach Nick Saban to Bryant-Denny stadium. The four-star wideout doesn't seem to be nearing a decision anytime soon.

Josh Jobe, CB, Miami (Fla.) Columbus -- Cheshire (Conn.) Academy -- Miami commit

Despite reaffirming his commitment to the Hurricanes recently, some believe Jobe's recruitment isn't over just yet. Last fall Jobe named the Tide his top school despite being committed to Miami. He recently visited Tuscaloosa.

Miami fan incoming...

May Wray, OT, Franklin (Tenn.) -- Ohio State commit

Wray backed off a commitment to Georgia following a visit to Alabama this spring, which prompted many to believe the Tide was the next landing spot -- myself included. Wray ultimately committed to the Buckeyes following a visit to Columbus. Alabama will continue to recruit the four-star tackle.

Jahan Dotson, WR, Hightstown (N.J.) The Peddie School

There hasn't been much talk about Dotson since last spring when the four-star receiver visited Tuscaloosa after earning an offer. It's not clear how much mutual interest there is at this juncture.

The one CB put in for Alabama for Dotson was over a year ago.

Jack West, QB, Saraland (Ala.) -- Stanford commit

Once thought to be the quarterback of the future at Alabama, West opted for the Cardinal over the Tide last July. Alabama continues to recruit West and was working on getting the four-star signal caller on campus earlier this spring. For now, West appears firm with his commitment.

Seth Williams, WR, Cottondale (Ala.) Paul W. Bryant

Many will be surprised if Williams goes anywhere other than Alabama considering he lives in Tuscaloosa's backyard. The four-star receiver, however, is evaluating all of his options. After nearly making a commitment in January, Williams is expected to take official visits before deciding on anything.

Cameron Latu, WDE, Salt Lake City (Utah) Olympus

Latu named Alabama his leader after receiving an offer on a Junior Day visit in January. He's since said USC has drawn even with the Tide. The former BYU commit was expected on campus for A-Day, but was unable to make it due to flying standby. Expect Latu to return to Tuscaloosa sometime this summer.

Tommy Brown, OT, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Brown does not yet hold an offer from the Tide. He recently visited alongside his teammate JT Daniels, and will likely return again this summer or fall. Many believe if Alabama offers and accepts a commitment, Brown will be in the class considering he grew up a fan after his father threw shot put for the Crimson Tide. Brown himself has said Alabama is a "dream offer."

Dorian Hardy, WDE, Paramus (N.J.) Catholic

Alabama was once the team standing out for Hardy, but earlier this spring the four-star defensive end told BamaOnLine he hadn't heard much from the Tide as of late.

Malcolm Lamar, SDE, Seffner (Fla.) Armwood

Lamar said earlier this spring that Alabama and Florida were his top two schools. The four-star defensive end last visited Tuscaloosa for Junior Day in February and will likely return this summer for camp.

I think he is Florida bound unfortunately.

Christian Tutt, CB, Thomson (Ga.)

Tutt recently said Alabama and Florida State were the programs on top, and that if he were committing today it would be the Crimson Tide. However, Tutt isn't committing until May 30, so fans will have to wait to see if the four-star corner is still feeling Bama later this month.

3 weeks til his commitment date.

Quay Walker, OLB, Cordele (Ga.) Crisp County

Walker said Alabama was standing out last month among his top five that also included Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and LSU. The four-star 'backer replaced Georgia with South Carolina earlier this weekend on the list, and also made mention of no order of rank. The Tide still looks to remain in good shape to land the Peach State product when he makes a commitment mid-season, if not sooner.

Joseph Scates, WR, Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar

Scates decommitted from Michigan State the week after visiting Tuscaloosa and receiving an offer. The four-star wideout said Alabama was a dream school growing up. Both Scates and teammate Tavion Thomas are expected back at camp this summer in Tuscaloosa.

Stephen Guidry, WR, Hinds C.C. (Miss.)

Guidry, originally thought to be a 2017 recruit before reclassifying, named Alabama his leader last summer shortly before committing to LSU. We'll see how things develop with Guidry and Alabama going forward after Billy Napier, his original primary recruiter, left for Arizona State.

The CB for him was put in last year when he was a Class of 2017 prospect.

Myles Mason, S, Pleasant Grove (Ala.)

Mason named Alabama his leader in Aug. of 2015 when the Tide offered. Bama maintained its spot there until earlier this spring with Florida State joined UA at No. 1. Mason has since stated he has no leaders, as Auburn has become more involved of late as well. If Alabama pushes it'd be a surprise to not see Mason in the class.
