"Coach Saban and (offensive line) coach (Mario) Cristobal were telling me they really want me up there to make an impact on the team," Joseph said. "Coach Cristobal always says, 'We want you bad, we want you bad.'
"Other than that, they just really want me up there."
To put it mildly, Alabama's reputation for manufacturing and delivering NFL prospects year in and year out has really struck a chord with Joseph, who now calls Alabama the "No. 1" school in his recruitment.
"I might be going to Florida next week on Saturday," Joseph said when asked about upcoming official visits. "I'm still kind of open at the moment because I just have to pick the best college for me. Alabama is probably one of the biggest schools I'm actually looking at right now. I would say they're my No. 1.
I woke up and waded through 4 pages of shite to finally read some good news.
ETA: Isn't this a little redundant?

Jaquan Yulee got a CB to Maryland from their writer. Sounds like Maryland is pulling out the checkbook this recruiting class.
Good. He can go start there and we can get Joseph. Sounds like a win-win for both parties.

Yes can't go into specifics at this time but the DL class at UA is expected 2 be VERY strong; Davis will be replaced
He sounds like the "insiders" on BOL with that shite.

Drake Davis article:

labama received a secret visit this weekend from an LSU commit, who says the trip could not have gone any better for him.
Drake Davis, a four-star LSU wide receiver commit from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), told SEC Country that his first trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala., was excellent.
“It went well. I loved it,” Davis said. “It was my first time being there. It was definitely a good experience. The campus is really nice.”
The trip to Alabama was unexpected and a last-minute decision, so does LSU have anything to worry about?
“I’m still 100 percent committed,” Davis said. ”I see myself playing for LSU, but Alabama is a great school, so you never know. Les Miles might leave or someone else may leave. You just never know the circumstances of what’s going to happen.”
The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder said he spent “all weekend” with Nick Saban, and the head coach’s message to him was clear.
“They’re all about winning,” Davis said. “It’s a great school to go to, and if I want to win, I should go there.”
LSU fans should expect Davis to make one last recruiting trip, this one to fellow SEC West rival Ole Miss on Jan. 28, he said.

“I’ve talked to my parents about this,” he said. “They want to make sure that I am 110 percent sure that when I sign those papers. They don’t want me to have second thoughts and change my mind. They want to make sure that I am intrigued with their program and that I’ll be happy there.”
So what does Alabama need to do to sway the TCU commit away from spending his college days in Fort Worth, Texas?
“I still need to develop more of a bond with those guys,” Martin said. “At TCU, I’ve been talking to these guys for around two years now. I’ve had a long bond with those guys. I still have to get a feel for how these guys are because I’ve only talked to coach Saban twice since being recruited by Alabama. I’ve also only talked to (linebackers coach Tosh) Lupoi two times.”

The nation’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2017 and former LSU commit Dylan Moses used to play high school football in Baton Rouge, La.. But Moses no longers plays football in Louisiana and is no longer a LSU commit.
Earlier this weekend, the five-star linebacker announced he would transfer from University Lab School (Baton Rouge) to IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) The change of scenery has seemingly given the 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect a new look on recruiting.
“Definitely gotta go checkout the (Miami) Canes, FSU & Gators since I’m gonna be here all year,” Moses tweeted.
“This should be a very interesting year.

“If National Signing Day was today, the school that I would be picking is Florida because I still have to talk everything over with my family about Alabama.”
Joseph, who was accompanied on the visit by his girlfriend, Shakevia Brown, said the Crimson Tide staff not only made sure he had everything he needed, but also his girlfriend. That impressed Joseph the most from this weekend’s trip.
“They just kept in contact with me,” Joseph said. “They kept on asking me how I was doing. They made sure I got in my room safely. They took care of my girlfriend, too.”
Brown, his girlfriend, also told SEC Country that she would support his decision if he were to flip his commitment from Florida to Alabama.
“I would be happy with wherever he goes, but Alabama would be a really great choice,” Brown said. “I think it would be a great choice to show him how to prepare for his future career. I think he would become a better person if he were to go there for the next four years.”
So which school does the girlfriend think is the better option? She couldn’t answer that one directly.
“They are both really great schools,” Brown said. “They both have your best interests in mind when you get there. I think both schools would make you better. They’re both inspirational schools.”
Joseph will take an official visit to Florida next weekend. He says his final decision will be made on National Signing Day. Alabama and Florida will be the final two schools.

Article about Amir Rasul. Says he grew up a Bama fan. A couple of other tidbits:
SEC Country
quote:
“He’s a really, really, really misunderstood guy. He’s all about business, which is true,” Rasul said. “Some people don’t understand the coaches that are all about business when you have coaches like Dabo (Swinney) and coach (Mark) Richt. People don’t get it, but of course Coach Saban likes to have fun and he even smiles and all of that. Work has to be done before he can smile.”
He continued: “That’s the vibe I got from him, which is totally fine. I understand his mindset and I feel like we both have the same kind of mindset.”
quote:
“I am still 100 percent committed to Florida State,” Rasul said. “I came in with Florida State, and come Feb. 3 (National Signing Day) — decisions, decisions, decisions — but Florida State is still my top school. I still plan on talking to Alabama, and if anything happens, I will just let God lead the way.”

Rashan Gary tidbit:
Coney is his mother BTW.
quote:
Gary has already taken official visits to Michigan, Ole Miss and Auburn. He returns to Ann Arbor next weekend for an unofficial with some other family members and high school teammates. That’s the program he has visited the most.
Coney said the fifth and final official could go to Alabama the last weekend of January.
“We may,” she said.

What position does Gary want to play? He could probably come in and crack the two deep like Payne did.

I haven't seen him list a preference, but he only weighs 285 pounds. I could see him playing outside because he's so damn fast.
