That's a pretty high confidence level. Has he even visited Ole Miss?

What are y'all hearing about Hall? I know he is good friends with our SS Errol Robinson, and the staff is pushing hard for him. Our Rivals mod thinks we are the leader.

I assume it will come down to Alabama and Ole Miss for him too. Our guys are saying he commits back to us.
No Drake Davis?

Both our Rivals (Bone) and 247 (South; Watts) guys think we lead for him. I've seen them say Florida State is 2nd.

He hasn't even visited Ole Miss yet, I think too much stock is being put into his last visit being with Ole Miss. He's visiting Alabama the week before.
I think he ends up Alabama.

I've read that fsu is in a good position for Hall.

If we can land those four (Davis, Wilson, Hall and Knott) we'll probably jump up to #1.
Update:
I just added these 4 in the Class Calculator thing over on 247 and they would jump us up to 290 points.
30 more than the current #1 class for Ohio State.

Add in all of Georgia's likely catches and they are wayyy up in points. It's pretty concerning.

Not yet, he is in January.
My prediction there is based off of what our mods have been saying. Because to be honest, I don't really know anything about him.

Alabama.

Yeah I think Carter is a Alabama kid too. We are making a late push, but I think he is all Bama.

I don't see him on the list. He is not on the Army AA game roster either.

He's listed in this article: LINK

8. WR Drake Davis
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Current state of recruiting: Davis' recruitment is relatively simple. The four-star wide receiver has been down to LSU and Ole Miss for some time now. For a time, he seemed torn between the programs, but his friend and teammate Shea Patterson may tip the scales in favor of the Rebels.
Prediction: As things stand now, Davis seems to be learning toward picking Ole Miss.

But if Drake was playing, I'd put him at 60%. He was thought to be a lock, but LSU is making a late push and hometown pressure is getting to him. But with Stephen Sullivan committing to LSU, I think that helps us a bit.
Drake is the receiver I want. Dude looks like AJ Green to me. NCM and AJ are good, and I would take any of the three, but man does Drake look speedy. Which is what we need to compliment DK Metcalf.

It's weird. Rivals lists him in the Top 10 Uncommitted Prospects at the game story, yet doesn't have him on the game roster page.

Also here's a crazy stat I just found.
Wisconsin leads the nation with the fewest runs allowed of 10 yards or more with 25 on the season (Alabama is second with 29).
9 of those 25 rushes that went for 10 yards or more for their entire season came from the season opener vs. Alabama.

TJ Simmons should be way higher than he is. He went off in the Alabama/Miss game. Was by far the top 2 best offensive players with Perine. I think he is a top 25 WR in the country. He isn't blazing fast but runs great routes, has for sure hands, decent size, and played against and produced against some of the best HS talent in the nation.

Alabama offered one of the nation’s top defensive tackles in April, but what has happened since has made the elite prospect upset.
Aubrey Solomon, a 2017 4-star defensive tackle from Lee County High School (Leesburg, Ga.), told SEC Country that his relationship with the Crimson Tide is very cold right now.
“I thought we had something. It’s like they broke up with me,” Solomon said. “I feel a little sad. I’m not going to lie.”
Solomon is doing some heartbreaking of his own, too.
His former high school teammate, Georgia offensive line commit Chris Barnes, has been recruiting Solomon to join him in Athens. Solomon had UGA at the top of his list but ultimately dropped them after the school parted ways with Mark Richt.
“(Chris) was a little saddened by it, but he understood. It’s a business after all,” Solomon said.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder said he’s hoping Alabama and Georgia pick up their recruitment of him. In the meantime, Solomon is going to focus on his new top five, which you can read about here.
Solomon is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 defensive tackle and is the state of Georgia’s No. 15 prospect.

One of the nation’s top defensive ends has a new top five list.
Aubrey Solomon, a 2017 4-star defensive tackle from Lee County High School (Leesburg, Ga.), told SEC Country that he has a top five of Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, Ole Miss and Georgia, and that’s in order. Tennessee was on his recent list, but it dropped out of the top five.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder told us why each school was standing out.
1) Ohio State — “They just came at me the right way. My mom and I think their academics are pretty amazing. I just feel like I can call that place home.”
Solomon also said that the Buckeyes have recruited him the hardest of the five schools.
2) Florida State — A big reason why is family (his sister attends Florida State). They also “breed d-linemen.”
3) Florida — “I like their defense a lot. They really get after the ball. I like that a lot.”
4) Ole Miss — “I don’t know much about them. I need to do more research.”
Ole Miss once a co-leader with Georgia, but it dropped because Solomon has not had a chance to look into the school more.
5) Georgia went from first to fifth on his list after the school decided to part ways with Mark Richt.
“That just really threw me off,” Solomon said.
He still has one connection to the old staff, and that’s defensive line coach Tracy Rocker. The Bulldogs assistant wants him to visit soon.
“He wants me to come in January to see how the new staff is,” Solomon said. “He doesn’t want me to rule them out yet.”
He doesn’t know if he’ll make it to Georgia next month, but he knows for certain that he will make visits to Ohio State, Florida State and Miami at the end of January.
Solomon is rated as the nation’s No. 7 defensive tackle in the class of 2017 and the state of Georgia’s No. 15 prospect.

Connor Murphy had a special Christmas this year. Alabama coach Nick Saban personally told outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi to call the elite prospect to make sure he knew the staff wanted him to play for the Crimson Tide next season.
Murphy, a 4-star defensive end from Brophy College Preparatory School (Phoenix), told SEC Country that Alabama now has a high probability of landing his signature when he makes his commitment.
“They definitely have a huge shot to get me,” Murphy said. “They’re Alabama. They are always No. 1. They’re a huge powerhouse. Everyone knows Alabama football. They always produce some of the best talent. I can’t wait for my official visit. It’s going to be interesting to see how everyone is and how the whole vibe is.”
The good news for Alabama is the fact that Murphy set up his official visit to the campus on Jan. 29, which is the last weekend before National Signing Day. The Crimson Tide will have the last chance to impress him.
The 6-foot-7, 250-pounder has already been impressed with Alabama, though, specifically coach Saban.
Murphy said he had a chance to speak with the Alabama staff for 30 minutes Sunday night after the Crimson Tide practiced in preparation for its game against Michigan State in the College Football Playoff. He said he feels like he’s a big priority for Alabama.
“Coach Lupoi messaged me on Twitter to make sure I answered the phone,” Murphy said. “He told me coach Saban turned down all of these ESPN interviews to talk to me. It truly shows how much he cares about his players and those he wants to come into the program. It meant a lot to me.”
Murphy said he’s had an “underwater” offer from Alabama for a few months now, which means that is he wasn’t too sure the offer stood because he never had a firm answer until his conversation with Lupoi on Christmas Eve.
He said he understood the process the team was taking because of Saban’s old school mentality of making sure all i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed. He gave an example of just how old school Saban actually is.
“Coach Lupoi was telling me how Saban doesn’t even have a caller ID on his phone. He’s like the only guy he knows that doesn’t have caller ID. He’s an old-school coach.”
Alabama is recruiting Murphy to play the JACK linebacker position, which is a hybrid between outside linebacker and defensive end. Murphy said Saban just wants him on campus. It doesn’t matter where he ends up playing.
“He told me that I’m a hell of a ball player and he wants me to play for their school,” Murphy said. “He loves what a tough kid I am. He wants me to compete at Alabama.”
In addition to his scheduled visit to Alabama, Murphy will take an official visit to USC on Jan. 15 and Michigan on Jan. 22. He has already taken his official visit to Oregon.
He said he plans on releasing a top five list soon, and Alabama will make the cut.
Murphy is rated as the nation’s No. 16 weakside defensive end and the state of Arizona’s No. 5 prospect.
