Considering how unstable Charlie's job seems to be, I'd be shocked if any kids flipped to them.

The St. John’s tandem is a difficult duo to grab. Obviously, the gem is four-star defensive end Terrell Hall, who is gradually gaining interest in Maryland. Hall was a one-time Alabama lean, but other SEC schools are pushing hard too. Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida and Ole Miss are pushing hardest, along with Maryland.” Hall has or will take officials to all four of those schools and right now most think Hall picks between Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss in the end. But the staff feels confident with Hall and believes it has real a chance. Hall is unsure if he’ll take an official visit to College Park at this point, but there may not need to be an official visit for Maryland to be in contention.

I don't know if it was a typo or not, but I thought Florida State was our biggest threat for Hall, not Florida.

Tom Loy thinks Demetris Robertson ends up at Notre Dame apparently:

quote:

WR Demetris Robertson — The Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep four-star wide receiver nearly saw his name removed from this list, but the fact that he remains adamant about returning at some point, is why he stayed on. He continues to express to the staff that he would like to get back on campus with his brother, so he could see the campus and get around the players and coaches. He had a chance to meet them during his in-home visit with Mike Denbrock and Scott Booker and will get another opportunity in January with Brian Kelly. Robertson has a ton of interest in the Irish and he's the type of young man who could very easily leave the South to play ball in South Bend. Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Stanford are all in the picture.

FWIW, their top 4 looks like this:

2. Oklahoma
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame

All the Whos down in Whoville want a new offensive coordinator next season, so why doesn’t Les Miles get the ball rolling with a late-December surprise? Time’s up for Cam Cameron who has struggled developing quarterbacks during his tenure.

2. Alabama — Early signing period

Alabama has it all, so this is the most difficult program to shop for this season. Perhaps some additional skill players to pair with Calvin Ridley and Bo Scarbrough? With an early signing period, Nick Saban would know what he has coming in without sweating in January.

Sterling’s primary recruiter, outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi, made it evident that Alabama was very interested.

“He was just telling me they’re very fired up about me,” Sterling said. “They’ve seen my highlight tape and all the coaches like it. He was just telling me it’s a great school to come to, you will get your education and you have a very high chance of going to the draft.

“He was telling me they have like five D-linemen going to the draft this year, so they need some immediate impact coming out of my class.”

They gone.
