I don't think any of our top targets are committing before then so you're gonna be disappointed.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought Kiffin would be a better recruiter. I know he has played a part with QBs, but I really thought he would do more. Maybe I'm forgetting some of his recruits
He landed Barnett in last years class and was Fromm's main recruiter in the beginning but took a step back at some point.
In my personal opinion his best recruiting job was Tosh Lupoi. He has been a beast for us as a coach this year.

We had the #1 class on Scout today.
Then Kareem Walker committed to Michigan and they jumped us.

2017 POSITION RANKINGS
The football season gave Rivals.com analysts a chance to see hundreds of prospects from the 2017 class in action, and resulted in movements throughout the individual position rankings. Here is a look at the big movers and position-specific storylines following the most recent rankings update.

PRO-STYLE QUARTERBACKS
NOTABLE RISER: Jake Fromm, Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County (Up 4 spots)
NOTABLE DROPPER: Jake Allen, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas (Down 4 spots)
COMMENTS: Five-star Clemson commit Hunter Johnson remains No. 1 in this update. Georgia native Davis Mills moves up one spot to No. 2, while another Peach State passer, Fromm, settles in at No. 3 after his bump. The ranking grows by five this update and now includes 25 prospects. Texas native Cam Roane makes the highest debut at No. 16.
Fromm is the #5 QB in the class.
I know we have Fromm committed and it appears he is solid for now, but I want to know what the deal is with that Davis Mills kid. He lives in Georgia and has been ranked above Fromm and Hockman since the beginning yet Georgia didn't push for him under Richt and now it appears Kirby isn't pushing for him either.

DUAL-THREAT QUARTERBACKS
NOTABLE RISER: Kellen Mond, San Antonio (Tex.) Ronald Reagan (Up 2 spots)
NOTABLE DROPPER: Jelani Woods, Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove (Down 12 spots)
COMMENTS: The West is dominating the top of this position ranking, with every prospect in the top 13 residing on that side of the Mississippi River. Texas A&M commit Tate Martell remains No. 1 in the ranking, and the only change in the top 10 sees Mond, a Baylor commit, replacing Woods at No. 9. There are now 25 prospects in the ranking, with Cedar Hill, Tex., native Avery Davis making the highest debut at No. 11.
We aren't after any of these kids. Just felt like posting all of the positions.

COMMENTS: There are no changes to the top five, but No. 1 Jack Anderson, a Texas Tech commit, did move up from a 5.9 to a 6.0 Rivals Rating to add further distance between himself and No. 2, TCU commit Wes Harris. Another four-star, Cesar Ruiz out of IMG Academy in Florida, rounds out the top three.

NOTABLE DROPPER: None
COMMENTS: Five-star Josh Kaindoh continues to hold onto No. 1 in this ranking after moving up to the No. 2 overall prospect in the class, but the rest of the top five is in flux after several new additions. Notre Dame commit Robert Beal is No. 2 after moving over from outside linebacker, Young lands at No. 3, Luiji Vilain drops to No. 4 despite moving up to a 5.9 rating and Jake Lawler rounds out the top five after a three-spot jump.

NOTABLE DROPPER: Corey Malone-Hatcher, St. Joseph, Mich. (Down 4 spots)

Ryan Johnson plays for St. Paul's in Mobile. He is the #196 prospect overall.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES
NOTABLE RISER: Cory Durden, Newberry, Fla. (Up 10 spots)
NOTABLE DROPPER: Juan Harris, West Union (Iowa) North Fayette (Down 13 spots)
COMMENTS: Utah native Jordan Tufele is the only new addition to the top ten, which is led by the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2017 class in Marvin Wilson. This is the rare position where more prospects lost their fourth star than gained them. Durden is the only new four-star from the previous ranking, and he now sits at No. 13 on the list.
