George Campbell and Kendall Sheffield just had a one on one for the ages. Both were perfect.
Campbell makes a great catch. Sheffield great coverage.
Best on Best.

OL Bama commit Richie Petitbon and OL Drew Richmond very chummy on the sidelines. Richmond was also encouraging Petitbon during all of one-on-ones.
Richmond is an Ole Miss commit looking around.

247 Article he stated Bama and FSU are the programs still in it and that he talks to them Daily. The article was from FSU writer Chris Nee.

From Shane Youngblood regarding Fitzpatrick:
quote:
Told our guys "it's Alabama and that's it" twice today. He also has relatives in the state. He is solid to UA.

He still expects Alabama to win the title too.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida -- Alabama commits were all over the field during the first day of practice at the Under Armour All-America Game.
Who stood out the most? Who has some work to do? Here are AL.com's observations of Alabama commits and major targets during Monday's practice at Disney's Wide World of Sports:
>>Alabama commit Lester Cotton beasted Terry Beckner Jr., a five-star defensive end, during a one-on-one drill. Cotton easily threw Beckner Jr. to the ground during one drill. During the rematch, Cotton held his ground again.
>>Alabama target Iman Marshall is the real deal. The 6-foot-1 cornerback, who is rated the nation's No. 3 overall player by 247Composite, was easily the top cornerback on Monday. Read more about his recruitment here.
>>It was an up-and-down day for quarterback commit Blake Barnett -- no quarterback was able to get into a rhythm -- but his most important work was during breaks in drills. The California five-star quarterback has taken it upon himself to recruit players like Marshall, running back Damien Harris and others. He was also chatting with offensive line commits Lester Cotton, Richie Petitbon and Brandon Kennedy during the morning practice.
>>Cotton and Kennedy both looked good during one-on-one drills. Kennedy, one of the nation's top center prospects, did a nice job slowing down 300-pounder Tim Settle. But the whole offensive line struggled with defensive standout Byron Cowart during 7-on-7 drills. Cowart and Co. frequently got into the backfield, with the Auburn target finishing with four sacks during one period of drills.
>>AL.com didn't see much of Hale Hentges on Monday, but those that watched him closely were very impressed with his performance. He moves well at 6-foot-4, 230-pounds and should be excel at both blocking and catching once he gets to Tuscaloosa.
>>Alabama cornerback commit Minkah Fitzpatrick struggled during one stretch of 7-on-7 play. Fitzpatrick got bead badly on back-to-back long throws, including one against receiver DaMarkus Lodge.
>>Five-star Daron Payne, who is down to Alabama and Auburn, didn't dominate on Monday, but he looked solid. He moved well and more than held his own during drills. The slimmed down Payne is moving better than he did during the majority of his senior season.
