Speaking of the Lawson bros, their dad is a coach and will likely want to be on the staff wherever they go. We have a position open now, David Miller just left for a better job. He was the video coordinator. Think their dad would want to take that job?

Depends on if the dad is going to use his kids to get a better job. He could easily get an assistant coaching job at a high-major school with his kids and their cousin. Whoever hires their dad is probably going to get his 4 kids (2 high-profile and proven collegiate players, 2 5-stars) and their cousin, DJ Jeffries (5-star). That's 5 guaranteed 5-star quality pickups with one hire. Anything else he accomplished as an assistant would be gravy.

I may be wrong but don't they just have the one 2019 son left in high school? DJ is also class of 2019 player. Imagine the Lawson kid, DJ, and Watford as a signing class in 2019.

He's going to be playing/scrimmaging this summer regardless. Might as well be doing it against top competition. Can't just put him in a bubble until he gets to Bama. We want him to keep playing and keep getting better.
