I hope they do. I'm sick of hearing about them.

*IMPORTANT*
Guy on TI said we will play in the Staples Center against Oregon State, Texas in Birmingham, and they're working on a home and home with Arizona. Also will try to play a preseason game in the Barclays Center.

Name five games he has helped us win. I'm all for showing love and all but we need inside help. Until he plays every game I say no on the scholarship if there is someone out there that can help us.

So we're going to play a preseason game in Barclays Center and a tournament there?

That's what it sounds like to me

I agree. Lawson's family is well enough off that he doesn't need an athletic scholarship anyways.
I think Avery might expect more from Galin than we do.

From the outside looking in, I agree that we need inside help. But we haven't seen what Giddens can do. Avery has seen him for a year now. Hall should be better and Galin was a good rebounder in high school. Maybe he believes we will be ok.

With Byrne, Arizona seems very likely. Also, Avery coached the Nets, so the Barclays Center stuff seems reasonable too. Staples Center would be crazy for the team. Will we ever play in Coleman again?
Do we know about the international trip preseason yet?

In EYBL, Galin only played ten minutes per game averaging close to 4 points and 3 boards. He was on one the best teams in Team Penny (Petty, P.J. Washington, Parker Stewart, and an Arkansas commit whose name escapes me)

All we know about the preseason trip is it's likely in Canada. Idk if the "preseason game" the TI poster was talking about would be included in this or not. He said we'd play a game in the Barclays Center. That's close to Canada..

Forgot to mention one more thing about the Arizona game. He said they don't know if they'll be able to get it scheduled in time for this coming season, but they're trying

I wonder if these trips can tell us anything about recruits Avery is confident we have a shot at. It was definitely not a coincidence we played in Huntsville and Las Vegas last year with Petty and Brown being major targets.

Didn't think of that....that's definitely something to keep an eye on

Giddens not the issue. No matter how good he is we know Hall is going to be in foul trouble and we only have one four.

We are better than all those teams (except Arizona) next year. Should have some quality OOC wins on the resume.

Oregon State had 27 losses, Texas had 22 losses, Memphis had 13 losses, UMass had 18 losses. Hopefully they're better this year

We didn't really play any 4s last year considering Bola played more like a 5. I don't think it'll be much of a problem if we stand pat. Having said that, I don't believe that there is any chance that we aren't looking at any of these transfers. I actually think Lawson is worth a scholarship, but even if we went that route (which I doubt, unless we strike out on these guys) Avery, Jr can come off of scholarship.

A lot of the teams we have on the schedule are high-majors that were very mediocre at best. Some of them were just flat out terrible. If we don't get Arizona on the schedule, I don't know if we currently have any quality teams on the OOC schedule other than the chance to play Minnesota/BYU in the 4-team tournament. I kind of hope we start it off with one of those 2 teams so we can possibly get 2 quality wins out of it.
EDIT: I misread UMass as Minnesota. I'd rather play Valpo.
