We got folks complaining about having the number 1 class in football and people not happy about getting a good playing for basketball.

shite crazy lol. Football mad about a player most didn't want a week ago or two ago. Our historic every year final four basketball program fans are upset about a top 100 player lol.

We have the #7 class in the country right now. A commit from Kira Lewis puts us at #2 (if he stays 2019).

I like the commitment too as long as he can defend and run the floor. If he can’t do those two things it doesn’t matter how well he shoots. I trust Pett too.

We probably don’t have a legitimate chance but man it’d be awesome to land him. All the analysts say he’s an elite trash talker as well

Outside of Michigan State, I'd say we have as good of a chance as anybody else considering he removed Duke from his list. Interesting considering his biggest thing is to play for a coach that has had success with bigs like him (Timme is a typical Duke big). If they offer I'd be interested to see if they pop back onto the list.

I also hate how Michigan State just offered him 2 weeks ago and is now considered the leader. I get why other football programs hate us...

Those wounds still haven't healed. At least with the other guys many expected them to be a tough get. But seeing as how Kansas State lost their coach that year, Cauley-Stein was ours until Cal struck out on all his big man targets and offered him a scholarship last minute without even seeing him touch a basketball.
