The writing was on the wall with that Wilkins comparison he made.

Something's fishy

Remember Avery said a few weeks ago he's looking for someone to join our staff in a consultant role or something like that? Maybe Doss would consider it

Eh.. Something is always fishy.
I'll never forget when they fired Maurice Ford the old Parker HS coach from JOJ/Jemison...he built the discipline there and sent them to BHM for the first time in forever and lose the championship game, gets canned then comes ring chaser Doss.

Always something fishy going on when it comes to basketball in Huntsville.

I know I bring a lot of OT stuff here, and hardly contribute to any in depth knowledge of basketball, but this thread and forum is awesome.
Also, I think the Stanley Cup Playoffs is probably my favorite playoff to watch, outside of March Madness. The physicality and constant intensity end-to-end makes it such a captivating sport.

I'm watching it too. These guys are the toughest folks in sports.
I don't really know the rules, but it's fun to watch

Yeah, last hockey game I went to was a Preds game back in December 2012, when they played the Red Wings. Over half the crowd were Red Wing fans, but the Preds still won. Rinne (the goalie) had a really good year that year.
Would love to go back, now that everyone there is so emotionally invested into hockey.
One of the analyst was on a radio show this morning on NBC, and he said the coolest thing he ever saw was a prominent hockey player smile. Of course when he smiled, he had hardly any teeth, but it gave him a different level of appreciation for the work and risk these guys put in. You really gotta love hockey to play the sport- especially at a professional level.

Those people in Nashville are going nuts over hockey now. If they win the cup, it's going to be a hell of a party up there

I can't imagine Broadway. Police said there were at least 50k there yesterday. Probably a shite ton more tonight.

I know it doesn't make financial sense, but I wish UA had a hockey team. Men's soccer and lacrosse too.

The club hockey team is rising fast, and playing more division 1 teams. We may actually see it happen soon.

Lacrosse would be huge down here.

I like the coaching staff at Mississippi State. And I like their style of play as well. Most of the time they are very up and down but, at the same time, they are a very fundamentally sound team.
