Is it confirmed he would have to sit a year or is it just a guess?
Posted on 3/28/16 at 10:53 pm to Bamafan15
Ok I see its confirmed and he'll have 2 years of eligibility left after that

Here's a list of players that are transferring if anyone's interested

One would assume that Alex Reese is certainly a Bama/Auburn battle now with Vandy's coach ousted

If we add him, and get another recruit- say Bruno- wouldn't that put us over the limit? Someone would have to transfer or be taken off scholarship.

What are AU people hearing about Garrison Brooks? Is he MSU bound or do we have a real shot?

The McDonald's All American game practice/scrimmage is on ESPNU right now. I know most likely we have no shot at Terrance Ferguson now but he's playing in it.
Posted on 3/29/16 at 2:08 pm to Bamafan15
Wow. Ferguson announced his top 5 and Alabama's not even in it. Forget that kid, he did us 100% wrong.
Posted on 3/29/16 at 2:56 pm to Bamafan15
Here n Arizona, University of Arizona fans are extremely confident they will sign Ferguson.

I don't mind a kid de-committing from us but the way he acted like he was 100% Bama and then just all of a sudden de-commits out of nowhere and blames it on his grandma dying is wrong. He said her death made him reconsider. Makes no sense. He lives in Texas so wouldn't her death make him wanna stay close to home? Why would her death make him drop Bama and go to Arizona? I don't get it

Lives in Texas to attend one of those joke prep schools, is from Kansas and I believe his mother still lives in Kansas.
Nevertheless, I completely agree with you.

Haven't read anything on him. Not sure that we're actively recruiting him, to be honest.

Women's basketball team got transfer UT-Martim DaiJia Ruffin. She averaged 14.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Why can't we get any good news for the men's team?
I think we're cursed

If we aren't in his top 5, then people might be right about Bama backing away because it got shady. Not saying he would have committed to us again, but it seems pretty obvious something went on behind the scenes.

Yeah, since he de-committed from us, I haven't heard any news about us trying to get him back. Avery seems like a guy who wouldn't cheat to succeed at anything so he's not gonna get into all that "who can pay the most" junk. I'd rather him do it the right way and it'll pay off and we'll be fine down the road. May take a few years to get the elite recruits bc of all this crookedness by these others schools, but I believe we'll eventually get there. All we gotta do is sit back, enjoy the ride, and buckle up!

If he can just get some under the radar guys and develop them, and continue to make progress. Then he would start pulling elite talent as the program progresses. You can win with late bloomers and under the radar guys if you know how to develop them.

I saw Mickey Mitchell is transferring from Ohio State. Not sure if we would be interested, but I think he played AAU for Pospichal and high school with AJ Jr.

AJjr would become a walk-on. He doesn't have to be included in the scholarship count since he's the coach's son (free tuition)
