4* Rayshaun Hammonds, a 2017 PF from Georgia, just got a crystal ball to Alabama.

Freshman Kira Lewis (Hazel Green HS) named to 2nd ASWA basketball team.
His recruitment by the big name basketball schools is picking up. Really hope he is one Bama doesn't let slip away.

He had crazy range on some of those shots.

Another potential grad transfer is Avery Woodson from Memphis. He's a 3 point specialist that we could use should he decide to transfer.

If he knows Nick King, maybe he'll want to transfer and play on the same team as him

Hammond's looks like a left handed less athletic Braxton Key I wonder where he will play. 3 or 4.

The fact that he shot a high-volume 38% from deep on that kind of shot selection is amazing. Looks like he has a solid handle for a 2-guard that he uses to dribble himself open. He's no Steph Curry, but a lot of what you see with how he uses the dribble for his shot is reminiscent of what Curry does. Quick dribbles, size up, and follow it up with a very quick release. He's my darkhorse to lead the team in scoring next year.

Armond Davis highlights

Dear god that is a ton of pull up 3-pointers in transition. Not a bad thing certainly because CAJ's offense relies heavily on the perimeter game, but Jesus this guy throws ones whenever he gets an open look.

Glad he showed he has the ability to create his own shots though.

I'd be okay with giving him the Ferg scholly and taking the big man from Florida to wrap it up.

Doesn't really make much sense. That's the one position we don't need.

Yea I was thinking the same but apparently he is a great shooter so maybe that's what he is looking for.

If he can shoot, I'm all for it.

ESPN has him listed as a SG, while 247 has him listed as a PG.

Hell, programs like Dayton, Providence, and UNLV are recruiting him, so I'm all for it.

Do we actually have a shot with Bruno Fernando or is that just a pipe dream?

He does seem interested, but I hope we're not spending too much time on him. Not often you see a coaches son choosing to play for an opposing team in the same conference, especially when said coach's school is recruiting him as well.

What's up with 24/7 listing that Christian Vital signed his letter of intent with UNLV but then Decommitted from them a week or so ago? Did something happen that would nullify his letter of intent?
