Drew champlin put in a crystal ball pick on Alex reese to Bama after talking to him yesterday. I think you will see a ton of picks for Herb jones to start rolling in. Man I can't wait till the 17 class gets on campus! Very exciting days are coming for Bama basketball guys! It's been d o depressing watching our basketball teams the last several years. If you think the Wimp days were exciting, it's going to be better than that. I hope we make some upgrades to Colrman, and change the seating. Get the old farts that just sit there on the front several rows is embarrassing to watch on tv. Get the students on the first several rows, and put the tide pride members behind them. Most of them are there just to get points for tide pride for football tickets.

Another stud to keep an eye on is Jaren jackson. His dad won a championship with Avery with the spurs. He wants to visit this summer. 6'10 225,yes please!

Highlights he actually has an offensive game, dudes even draining 3's.

We should probably get a few commits before statements like this keep getting made...

Maybe, but just watch. Too many top recruits we are either the leader or top 2. If we don't have a top 15 class if not top 10, I will quit posting. That's how confident I am!

Just another thought on the 17 class. We already got Daniel Giddens, I think it's a given that you can already add Alex Reese, and Herb Jones. Just those 3 is great. Then add 2 or 3 out of Collin Sexton, Reyshaun Hammonds,Cj Roberts,Troy Brown,John Petty, Jaren Jackson, and Garrison Brooks. I'm telling you, this will be the class that turns our program around!

One thing I've noticed about CAJ. He can spot talent before a lot of others do. He keeps finding different top level players that are just becoming noticed or haven't really been noticed by big schools and he'll start recruiting them first (like Alex Reese and Collin Sexton). That helps us be able to be in the lead for top recruits that we wouldn't have had much of a chance with before.

Yep! That can be the difference in getting a prospect. Can't tell you how many times a recruot committed to a school and said the reason why was because they were the first to offer,or one of the first.

I like your optimism and hope you're right, but guys like Reese and Sexton actually have to commit before we go crazy. Grant was continually in the top 5 for good talent too.

Grant was actually on Reese when he was here. One of the reasons why I think he commits because we've been on him since day 1.

Really would like to get Jamal Johnson and not let a Bama legacy go to AU.

From everything I have read, he is down AU's board, UAB pushing the hardest for Johnson.

forgive me if this has been discussed but Buck Johnson has a junior. He is being highly recruited and if so, does Bama have a chance.

Tough to get a read on where Johnson may end up or how he fits on Alabama's recruiting board. It sounds like UAB's very much in contention but Vanderbilt is also appealing.

That quote is from the above linked article by Bamafan15. That seems to sum up what everyone knows. Most recruiting mods believe he is not at the top of Alabama's board for his position.

As of right now he is not a top priority cause we are higher up on top prospects like Herb Jones ,Troy Brown, Cj Roberts, Collin Sexton. Unless we miss on all those guys sadly he will not be apart of this class.
