If we get Mac, Henry, Thomas, Tunsil, Allen, Tenpenny, Robert Foster, OJ Howard, and DeMarcus Walker we will have 9 of the current top 30 on 247.
I don't see Bama getting them, but that's still a damn good class
Question: Bama still confident with Walker after FNL? I haven't checked to see how his visit went or anything

It is definitely Alabama/Florida. Could postpone it again and even if he committed to either or I could see him flipping before NSD. Ill say Alabama though because supposedly he and Henry are good friends and have been talking up Alabama and have around the same decision date. Not that Henry would make him go to Alabama, but it is a forgone conclusion Henry is going to be at Alabama. The Florida friends and Muschamp still have his attention to say the least though. His dad wants Alabama, his coach wants Alabama, and his GF will be going to Alabama. You draw up your own guess from that info and you are right there with me. Ill say 55/45 edge Alabama.
I agree Alexander and Tunsil may be long shots, BUT those 2 arent tipping their hand at all to even know who leads. Tunsil could very well have us as his leader, but my gut says UF/UGA, so you saying we wont get Tunsil is kind of based off of no info. Alexander is kind of the same, but doesnt even have a top whatever, so that one needs to develop before anyone names a guess.
Robert Foster has Alabama in his top 2 with Pitt and many believe we lead, so Ill say we are sitting good and looks like we can land him.
Out of the possibilities this is my rating on chances of getting them.
1.Henry (feel great)
2.Walker (55/45 Alabama over Florida)
3.Robert Foster (51/49 Alabama, loves Saban. feel great about him)
4.Antonio Conner (I think Alabama leads, but Miss schools are in his top 3 with Alabama, LSU still in, Ill say my gut says Bama or Miss St.)
5.Tunsil (top 3 even with UGA, UF, feel good for now)
6.Beckwith (Bama/LSU 51/49 LSU gut, but he def talks us up and likes the idea of playing LB in our defense.)
7.Thomas(FSU leads, we are 2, need a visit to feel like we have a shot, too early. dont feel great like I used to.)
8.Alexander (gut says FSU with his twin, but he loves Saban and how he is the best DB coach there is)

And Cajun pretty much every Saban class has had a surprise that wasn't on our radar until like a week before signing day. Kirven Bell etc.

Just realized that after this year, in a 4 year period, that we will have had a player drafted in the first round from every position group aside from QB and TE.If that doesn't sell recruits I don't know what will.
RB - Ingram, Richardson
WR - Jones
OL - Fluker, B.Jones, (Andre Smith 5 years ago)
DL - Dareus
LB - McClain, Hightower
CB - Kirkpatrick, Kareem Jackson (possibly Milliner this year)
S - Barron
Also Upshaw and Cody went very high in the second round.

McCannon has a legit shot to go in the first round after his senior year if he keeps playing the way he did at the end of last season.

1st overall pick not 1st round, I agree if he stays for 2 more seasons he will be a 1st-2nd round pick. Weeden 2.0

Yes, and as long as he has a good season and doesn't frick up at the Combine or Pro Day, he should be a first rounder. Whether people want to admit it or not, a lot of experts already see him as a top CB, and they know he's only getting better under Saban.

i agree but what i have noticed is people will stay away from him in games . His freshman year he was ok but last year no one wanted to throw his way at all .

He was the most targeted member of our secondary last year. I don't know why because Menzie gave up more, but Milliner was targeted and made people pay. We led the nation in three and out defense though, so there wasn't a lot of time to rack up stats.
Also, just throwing this out. Lester dropped at least 4 INTs, so when people say his numbers were down because he performed poorly, they should know that he just let a few get away from him.

Christion Jones isn't close to 5'11"
He is within 1/2" of maze and maze measured 5'7" at the combine. He is going to be one hell of a football player though...amzing poise and amazing hands. He's a short darius hanks with more wiggle
