Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin spoke with reporters on Monday and provided a status update on wide receiver Tre Harris ahead of Saturday's matchup vs. LSU.
Harris suffered an ankle injury vs. South Carolina and did not return to the game. He currently leads the nation in receiving yards, with 885 yards on 52 receptions.

“You know, he couldn’t finish the first half (against the Gamecocks) and wasn’t really close to going back in the second half. So, he certainly would not be playing today. We’ve got to get the other guys ready. We’ve got to perform better than we did in the second half without him when we had three points…We only threw one pass in the fourth quarter. But that makes us move people in different spots when he’s out and so we’re preparing to do that and preparing to play without him.”
Harris is the top receiver in the country with 885 yards on 52 receptions. He’s scored five touchdowns and is averaging 147.5 yards per game.
He leads the SEC as well. After Harris’ 885 yards, the next-closest receiver in the league has 552 yards.
