Derek Carr is now a New Orleans Saint. After nearly a decade with the Raiders organization, the quarterback has moved on following an extremely challenging final season with the team. Here's what made him leave Las Vegas...
quote:

"Once they made my wife cry, that was pretty much over. Once they made her cry, that was out," the quarterback said in an interview with the Fresno Bee.

"I was, for lack of a better term, I was very upset; I was mad," Carr said about being benched for Jarrett Stidham near the end of the season.

"I would have said I don't even want the money, just to play two more times in front of our fans. I didn't get that opportunity. So, it definitely lit a fire inside me to keep going."

Benched for Jarett Stidham. He should have cried.
