As every Villanova fan on earth jumped through the roof after Kris Jenkins' sank a 3-pointer to win the NCAA Tournament, head coach Jay Wright could not have been more smooth in the moment...

He admitted today on NY 660am radio that he was not sure if it counted yet or perhaps there would be time added to the clock for a NC inbounds....Valvano did not have to worry about 10ths of a second...simply coaching still...

All I know is: he's an amazing coach and drew up a perfect play.

Dumb IMO. Trying to be cool instead of celebrating your team's buzzer-beating national championship win. He's no Jim Valvano.

Or in his mind he wanted to respect Roy williams. You have a strange interpretation.
