A lot of guys never live up to expectations. He is NOT one of those guys. He plays like a 5*. I will compare him to Derek Stingley but he is a more physical player than Stingley comparing TR FR to TR FR. Pickett is a great coverage guy, has good football instincts, tackles well, can produce sacks on blitzes, etc. LSU's defense is far from perfect with a lack of pass rush only sending 4 and having fits with running QBs but you don't see the defensive busts in past years and the secondary is light years ahead of last seasons...Cameron Burns and Sage Ryan gone helping there.
