LSU head coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday and provided the following updates on players who were limited or absent on Monday.

QB Michael Van Buren:
Van Buren was spotted with a splint on his throwing hand on Monday. Kelly said that he jammed the index finger, but he will be throwing again tomorrow in practice. The MRI and X-ray were clean.

LB Whit Weeks:
Weeks was limited during Monday's practice due to load management, Kelly said.

LB Harold Perkins:
Kelly said that Perkins was out of practice on Monday due to a "personal day," but practiced on Tuesday

I wonder what would have happened if I had told Coach Don Shows that I was taking a personal day or needed a day off for load management? I'd still be running today.

I recall having my finger jammed by a thrown football. Swelled up big time and still bothers me to this day. Just glad Van Buren had a jam and not a broken finger. Still...not good for a QB on his throwing hand

For the Clemson game, it is concerning that Weeks is on load management. He’s not 100%, and that is a bummer.
