LSU head coach Brian Kelly was in Mississippi on Monday and stopped in Tupelo to see four-star LSU defensive end commit JaReylan McCoy.
The 6’7, 245-pound lineman from Tupelo High School announced his commitment to LSU earlier this month at the Under Armour All-American Game.
He picked the Tigers over Ole Miss, Tennessee, USC, Alabama, and others.
McCoy is rated the No. 12 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 6 player from Mississippi, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
