The Tigers landed two commitments for the class of 2017 in running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and athlete Jontre Kirklin.
The LSU coaching staff also got a boost for the 2018 class when defensive back Kelvin Joseph from Baton Rouge, LA (Scotlandville Magnet) and cornerback Corione Harris from New Orleans, LA (Landry-Walker) both verbally committed to the Tigers on Saturday.
LSU now has five verbal commitments for the class of 2018 with Joseph and Harris on board.
