New LSU tight ends coach and run game coordinator Alex Atkins was up in Wheaton, Ill., on Thursday and visited with three-star tight end Gavin Mueller.
Mueller, a 6-5, 255-pound prospect from South Elgin High School, recently included LSU in his top four schools, along with Notre Dame, Colorado, and Wisconsin.
Mueller visited LSU back in April and had a glowing review of his trip.
