Elite five-star tight end Arik Gilbert has officially signed with LSU.


Gilbert, a 6-5, 253-pound prospect from Marietta, GA (Marietta HS) is rated the No. 1 tight end in the country for the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall player from the state of Georgia, according to 247 Sports and Rivals.

He was recently named the Gatorade National Football Player of the Year this week.

I was just listening on the radio about this kid and didn't realize he was a Tiger recruit. The way they were hyped about Georgia having the first Gatorade player of the year, I figured he was a dog. Glad he's with us good guys.

After WR Rakim Jarrett decides to stay close to home and flips to Maryland I was worried the same for Arik Gilbert .Phew! no chance now
