NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that former LSU basketball player Jarell Martin has been traded by the Memphis Grizzlies to the Orlando Magic.

Martin averaged 7.7 points and 4.4 rebounds last season with Memphis.


The Baton Rouge native played at LSU from 2013–2015 and was selected by Grizzlies with the 25th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

Yeah, as Magic fan I would love to see him make the team, but I'm not seeing where he is going to get minutes.

I always thought he left a lil to early he should have stayed one more year to let his body and mind mature.

Such a better opportunity for this man! Memphis is a shithole of a city. Orlando is a very nice city with a very nice shiny arena

Orlando has a ton of SF/PF/C types. I don't think he will make the roster.
