LSU Earns Road Win At Alabama, 74-69

Per LSUSports.net: TUSCALOOSA, Al. – The No. 13 LSU Tigers outlasted the Alabama Crimson Tide in a 74-69 victory Saturday in the Coleman Coliseum. The Tigers improve to 24-5 (14-2 SEC) while Alabama falls to 17-12 (8-8 SEC).

The Tigers are now 8-0 on the road in SEC play. The eight wins matches the 1980-81 team for the most road conference victories in program history.

We beat Bama and Ky and Bama beat Ky. I know Dicky V wants Ky as a 1 seed to breeze through the 1st 2 rounds but performance does not dictate that! We should be seeded higher at this point!

After the Tenn beat down of Ky we should be a top 10 team come Monday. Finish the year and do well in the SEC and we should be a 2 seed.

Ok I’m gonna bring some negative. I’m thankful we’ve got athletes who are winning almost every time out, but I still see lack of a plan on offense, we’re chasing the ball on D (open 3’s all day), and I don’t understand why we’re so nasty in the paint on O but soft in the paint on D?!?! Am I crazy? We should be having some easier wins IMO. But thankful for sure for our record

Playing on the road against a good team that was in a must win situation. Withstanding the emotions and the crowd noises that bama, brought........this Tiger team remained focused. That’s whats impressive to me at this point. They are becoming a intensively focused team. GEAUX TIGERS!
