LSU Captures SEC Championship Title With Win Over Vanderbilt

To Skylar Mays, Marshall Graves, and everyone else who climbed it Saturday night, it felt a lot higher than that.

“I feel like,” Mays said, “we’re on top of the world.”

A roller coaster 72 hours after a roller coaster season reached new heights on Saturday, as LSU knocked off Vanderbilt 80-59 to claim its 11th SEC title. The championship had been wrapped up officially with Auburn’s win over Tennessee earlier in the day, but an LSU victory meant the Tigers will share this title with no one.

LSU will be the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament which starts on Wednesday, March 13 in Nashville, Tennessee and wraps up on Sunday, March 17.

The Tigers will have a double-bye in the tournament and play their first game on Friday, March 15.

I have had it with him. He should have stood by Will Wade until everything is known. Alleva once again jumped the gun just like he did at Duke with their Lacrosse team. If Wade goes then Alleva should go too.

Fuk him. Vitale is nothing but a Duke, UK, and UNC punk. UNC gets caught fixing grades for their Basketball players but Ole Dickie was right out there polishing Roy Williams' knob. Zion has his name mentioned in the FBI probe in conjunction with ASU but ends up at Duke. So I guess we are expected to believe that Duke and Coach K got Zion to come to "Good Ole Duke" for free just because it's Duke? This entire situation is laughable. This FBI probe is on corrution in Basketball and recruiting. So I suppose all the corruption is orchestrated by an LSU program which was left for dead for a decade while teams like UK, Duke, UNC and Kansas continue putting teams on the court with 5 McDonald's All-Americans? Really? LSU should blow the lid off this entire MOFO. After all Alleva was at Duke with Coach K before coming to LSU. I am certain he knows something.
