John Treloar Opts Out Of LSU Assistant Coaching Job

NOLA.com is reporting that John Treloar will not be part of the LSU Basketball coaching staff and will instead take a job with another NBA team.

Head coach Johnny Jones had previously announced the hire of John Treloar as LSU associate coach back on April 15, but things have changed since then.

Treloar said late Tuesday night that the job with another NBA franchise was one that he couldn't turn down but was still tough to decide on because of his feelings for the Tigers' program and Jones.

Coach Jones will now switch his focus from recruiting and the teams trip to Australia on to finding a replacement for Treloar.
