College Station, TX. — LSU splits the doubleheader against Texas A&M on Saturday, winning game two, 2-1, after dropping game one, 3-1, to the Aggies.
LSU’s record is now 33-10 overall and 15-8 in the SEC. Texas A&M moves to 26-20 overall and 9-14 in the conference.
The Tiger pitching shined on Saturday in College Station with junior right-hander Anthony Eyanson tossing a complete game and tallying 14 strikeouts, allowing one run on three hits. Sophomore lefty Kade Anderson started game one, striking out 12 in 6.0 innings pitched. Anderson held the Aggies to one run on three hits and three walks.
