LSU will be without pitcher Cole Henry this weekend vs. Alabama as he is not traveling with the team due to arm soreness, according to head coach Paul Mainieri.
The freshman right-hander from Florence, Ala was set to become LSU's Friday night starter, with Zach Hess moving to the bullpen but things have a changed since Herny is dealing with tenderness in his elbow.
Henry was dominant vs. Florida last Friday, allowing just one run on four hits in 5.1 innings with no walks and a career-high 12 strikeouts. His performance earned him SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors.
