LSU Earns Astros College Classic Championship With 10-5 Win Over Texas State

HOUSTON, Tx. – LSU left fielder Josh Pearson rockets his third home run of the season and ten separate Tigers tally base hits to help propel second-ranked LSU to a 10-5 victory over Texas State in their final game at Minute Maid Park for the Astros Foundation College Classic.

With the win, LSU improved to 11-1 on the season, while the Bobcats dropped to 7-4.

The Tigers return to action Wednesday for the final tilt of a five-game road stretch as they take on the Southeastern Louisiana Lions at Alumni Field. The contest can be streamed on ESPN+, and it can be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.
