Following LSU's win over Southern on Wednesday night, head coach Paul Mainieri spoke to the media and said that Eric Walker will start Sunday vs. Texas in place of Jaden Hill who is dealing with arm soreness.
Walker made his first start on the season vs. Southern on Wednesday, pitching just two innings without allowing a run, hit, or walk and struck out three batters.
Hill has started two games this season, allowing two runs over 10 innings and was named SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance vs. Air Force on opening weekend.
