Florida To Hire New Co-Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers Coach

Florida is expected to hire Washington's inside linebacker coach, Robert Bala, to be the Gator's new co-defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.

Bala spent 2024 with Washington and was Alabama's linebacker coach in 2023. Before that, he was an analyst with Liberty in 2022.
