Report: Auburn Losing Co-DC Charles Kelly For Head Coaching Gig

Auburn co-defensive coordinator Charles Kelly is set to take the Jacksonville State head coaching job, according to multiple reports. Per AL.com:

Kelly, 57, will take over for Rich Rodriguez, who took over as head football coach at West Virginia after three seasons at Jax State.
Hired at Auburn ahead of the 2024 season, he spent 2023 as Colorado’s defensive coordinator under under Deion Sanders.
Prior to joining Colorado’s staff, he was Alabama’s defensive coordinator and safeties coach from 2019-22. Alabama went 47-6 during that span under Nick Saban, also winning a national title in 2020.
