Morgan comes to Auburn following four seasons as safeties coach and senior
defensive analyst at Memphis. During that time the Tigers won 36 games and
reached four bowl games.

Prior to coming to Auburn, he spent five years (2021-25) at Tennessee as a defensive assistant working closely with the team’s secondary. He was instrumental in the development of Jermod McCoy, a 2024 All-American, and Colton Hood, a 2025 All-SEC performer.
Springer recently played defensive back for Ole Miss in 2021. This seems to be his first significant position in his early coaching career.
