Report: Alabama OC Bill O'Brien Linked To NFL Coordinator Job

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien could be a candidate for the OC job with the New England Patriots.

Current Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels is expected to be hired as the Las Vegas Raiders new head coach. Per On3Sports.

Schefter first tweeted on Thursday that if McDaniels leaves, O’Brien is a name to monitor, and he doubled down on that take in an appearance on ESPN late Sunday morning.

“One person to watch (in New England) is a former New England Patriots assistant coach and former Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien,” Schefter said Sunday.
