This may not be properly understood nowadays but it must be remembered: the 'everyone should win a trophy...kumbaya" mentality was not only foreign at that time, I'm not sure if it had even been conceived yet.
Well said....

Used to drink Jim Beam black label in my younger days. Now go with Knob Creek. That, my friends, is damn good on the rocks....
Honestly, I don't even feel like discussing it any more. It's obvious you don't get it, and probably never will.
TheSandman is correct. Florida/Georgia is akin to Alabama/Tennessee or Auburn/Georgia, but Alabama/Auburn it ain't. To be honest I'm surprised there is even an argume...
Every fricking year. He gets boo'ed like a mad man and he just cheers back.
Yep, that's the guy. :rotflmao:...
Never seen the LSU guy before. There is usually a Tennessee fan that likes to show up at A-Day in his all orange Volunteer garb and stick out like a sore thumb....

Pretty badass but also pretty small. Will be about the size of Vandy's stadium....
Yeah but could you imagine having to deal with the WVU fanbase every year?? My dad lived in Charelston for a year, he said they are the most rediculous, irrational fanbase out there. A near- LSU rowdiness, Alabama-like attitude, with a Vanderbilt sized trophy case
I have nev...
In 2008, she became the first LSU soccer player in history to score a goal when she boomed a soaring boot in from 90 yards away on a free kick against Brigham Young. The play made ESPN's top 10 plays.
Is this right? Has LSU only had a soccer program since 2008? No flame, ju...
He's going to be good but I get the feeling most Bama fans will feel a little let down with him being the following act behind Ingram then Richardson
This ^^^^...

re: Pistol Pete died at age 40?
Every now and then, a player that transcends school fandom comes around, one that even though he plays for someone else, you can't help but love to watch him play because you know you're watching something very special. The Pistol was one of those guys.
This....
A former Bama player, can't remember which one, summed up the two rivalries this way: "We hate Auburn because we have to. We hate Tennessee because we want to." Sounds about right to me....
I'm going to say this is false by today's timing standards, but Bo Jackson was still a badass regardless (and even though he played for Auburn.)...
I'm actually surprised Auburn posters here are arguing this point. The Auburn fans in my family and others that I know take great pride in being the smaller fan base and wear it like a badge of honor. :dunno: ...
Most Auburn fans would prefer people to think we're in Western Georgia than Eastern Alabama.
So would most Alabama fans....
I don't know. But LSU should go back to the court that's in the video. It's pretty
And Kentucky should go back to those uniforms. Holy hell....
I think to really compare you might need to also look at the offense. I think our offense this year was a lot better than the offense of 92'.
There is some real truth to this. It seemed like that '92 defense had to score a touchdown a game on its own or Bama would not have gone und...
Question: If this happens and the 4 programs scheduled eachother as OOC series for off years, would that be the biggest collective "Like a boss" move in the history of college sports?
Yes, yes it would be....

Guy was a stud in college. Will be a shame if this is how his life turns out....
I'm unclear why other fan bases give a shite how we refer to the coach of the college football team we cheer for? :wtf: ...
