re: Cam Akers RB out of Clinton MS

I'm not so passive on Akers. Dobbins is fine, but we could really use a bigger back going into the future. If something were to happen to Mike Weber, Urban wouldn't have a power back other than the underwhelming Antonio Williams. As electrifying as McCall is, he's not the guy I want to give it to ...

The Ohio State University presented by Les Wexner. In all seriousness, the guy has donated $175M to the school, exclusively for academic ventures, including $100M to build a radiation center to fight cancer. You know you're in pretty good shape when the biggest criticism Mother Jones can levy ...
Bama is better, but it would be a fun game to watch if the good OSU shows up. ...
He's gone. If Saban doesn't do it, he'll never live it down. Heck, try explaining to a recruit's mother--who is asking whether you'll take care of her son--why you let a drug-using, stolen-gun-toting player stay on the team. No bueno....
Just saw where Ohio State is expecting to lose at least 7 juniors/redshirt sophomores to the draft this year... That's gotta sting.
Make it 9. Nonuple sting... Thank god the big ten's weak state next season might allow the new kids to develop early without OSU losing too many gam...
Wait, he mentions Cardale Jones and OSU. I thought Cardale was leaving?
He is leaving. And even if he weren't, he wouldn't have been the starter anyway. Article goes on to mention that OSU's top-ranked recruiting class will make up for the losses, as if the freshmen will play big...
Better football discussion here. Did my undergrad at OSU. My Chicago law school laughs at Northwestern......
Different views on value propositions, I suppose. ...
Academics but OSU fans like yourself would probably say football because your Athletics are more important to you than academics. Which isn't shocking considering you're from Ohio
You do realize that OSU is a significantly better school than Ole Miss, right?...
The truth of the matter is that very few people here would have gone to school at their SEC Alma Mater if they didn't have a football team to root for.
That seems utterly insane. ...
Combination of the following: (1) People recognized that he wasn't getting the credit he deserved, which was likely a product of a lack of name recognition coming into the season, the fact that he is a non-QB at Stanford, and time zone differences; (2) People are jealous of and/or hate Bama;...
The media can differentiate between Bama et al. and the SEC at large. Bama has earned the right to boast freely and openly. Florida still has bragging rights from its recent string of dominance, but that's fading. Auburn can talk a bit. LSU certainly isn't weighing down the conference by any mea...
I lean Henry, but there's a principled argument that the gap between he and McCaffrey is wider than it should be. ...
We will be able to run the ball. Take that shite to the bank, homey.
Not saying you won't, but I wouldn't sleep on MSU's d-line. We'll see how deep they are or aren't. ...
Alot like Shaun Alexander. But more speed and much more power.
Are you suggesting he'll be better than Shaun Alexander? I know Alexander ran behind a great line and a monster fullback (Mack Strong), but his numbers were so gaudy that he was considered one of the top handful of bac...
