It looks as if it's a two team race between AU and Tennessee.
AU has a big lead, notice the CBs, going into the weekend. Gonna be hard to overcome AU....

Plus, we run regular IZ, which leaves the backside DE/LB unblocked and they make the tackle almost every damn time.
Now, nothing wrong with running IZ, but there's no threat of Dobbs keeping the ball on the read option.
The backside end has to respect the QB keep in order to run IZ efficientl...

The problem isn't the offensive scheme. Schemes usually aren't the problem. Every play is drawn up to score.
It's the play calling that blew my mind.
For example, 3 & 10 against Florida and we we run a damn QB sweep to the boundary, when a first down could've nearly iced the game for us.

Tennessee v. Michigan is a MUCH better match up than LSU v. Michigan.
