You didn't refute my statement about richt never winning 10 games with a freshman qb. In fact, You supported it by pointing out a season in which he didn't win 10 with a freshman qb.

Richt average with a freshman qb? 8-5.
Kirby 2016 with a freshman qb? 8-5.

A realistic view on what our program had become under richt and where it was going is is all I have done. Why that offends you is beyond tarzans understanding.

True, but I pointed out that he did win 9.

Again. I am not going to argue. nobody can say which is the better coach at this point in Kirby's career.

ETA
You do know I am not the one that called you tarzan, right?

So. Will you be happy with 11-3?

11-3 would mean 2 losses before the review committee. With the likes of a one loss Bama/LSU, USCW, Ohio St, FSU, Oklahoma/Texas or a one loss independent (Notre Dame), do y'all really believe the committee would select a two loss Georgia team? 11-3 is not a option. 12-2 is the only option to make Dawg fans happy.

Notre Dame is NOT going to lose only 1 game.

However, I don't think the only way to be happy is to make the playoffs. I honestly believe most fans will be happy with 10 wins right now. Moving forward, yes. I think people will want to see improvement and progress towards the playoffs, and a National Championship. This is what we hired Kirby for. But if anybody thinks it will happen over night, they are kidding themselves.

When did Richt win his 6th East crown?

2002, 2003, 2005, 2011, 2012....what year am I missing?

10 wins, sheesh. We could have gotten that last year if it wasn't for the three derps. Also over night? This team will be one of Kirby's best. How can you see this team being better after 2017?

2019 should be our year. If not....

ETA
Kirby recruited very well last year, and could still pull out a nice class this year. Add a good one in 2019 and we could be on our way.

2002,2003,2005,2007,2011,2012

You missed 2007

ETA
Record wise we tied Tennessee, but they got the nod for head to head. We still get credit for a co-championship.

2007 doesn't count. That's like Ole Miss claiming the 2003 SEC West.

Come to what? Keeping stats accurately? Relax.

Too funny though. Let's point at the asterisk and shite on the 2007 season and one of the best teams in program history instead so it'll make us feel better about Kirbs. ha, ha.

This place.

No...claiming a co-championship even though TN beat us that year head to head. That's not a co champion - that's 2nd place.

Not a tie when they beat you on the field...you're 2nd.

That's why we watched TN in the championship game.

But hey...beat that awful SC team and you don't have to worry about it.

It's funny how this thread has shaken out.

Most are jerking to the thought of Kirbs going 11-3 while simultaneously shitting on a 2007 asterisks. In a year when Richt went 11-2. (11-3 wasn't possible)

I don't know why people continue with this narrative. A dip in productivity was to be expected. That's what happens when you replace the whole coaching staff. But like the old adage goes, it takes money to make money. If I invest $100,000 today, yes I'm $100,000 poorer, but my hope is that my $100,000 turns into $1,000,000.

You should stick to the non-football discussion of tarzan, MAGA, and the NWO. While you are still embarrassing yourself with that, the football discussion makes you look worse, which makes me want to ask for one favor:

Go ahead and tell us why we would be in a better place today by keeping Richt after 2015.
