We haven't won a single game because of Fromm. We'd be 4-0 with anyone at QB. The difference between 3-1 last year and 4-0 this year is a defense that gave up 45pts and one that gave up 3. It had nothing to do with either QB. The Mizzu game Eason won almost by himself. Fromm doesn't have that on his resume yet. You guys see whatever supports your argument. The fanboys in here are over the top. We could've ran the wild dawg all night and beat Miss state.

Ding ding ding. JoeT3 would have looked all world against miss st with the wide open play actions throws available.

I have not seen him have to execute a passing game much in obvious passing downs or lead from behind.

We haven't had to see him do that because his passing efficiency has opened our running game.
Eason was forced into those obvious passing plays on 3rd down because the run game was shut down on 1st and 2nd due to defenses stacking the box.

I am not convinced of that.

Smart and every reporter who watched practice said Eason looked to be ahead of Fromm before the season.

Maybe. Could have easily lost Notre dame with Eason. Maybe he doesn't go 3/4 for 45 yards late in the 4th q like Fromm did. Gamatt still doesn't think that was a comeback drive for the win though.

This isn't why our run game has been great you dolt. Why would the wild dog be working so damn well? It sure ain't Fromms efficiency opening up the holes.

I know what was said. I think Smart is smart enough to know he has to say that, and the reporters don't get to watch practice.

..or maybe Eason doesn't throw a ball directly in the defenders chest and drop one and butt fumble... maybe

I do know Starting Fromm would have looked bad before the season.

Kind of like last year if Kirby had started Eason over Lambert.

They get to watch more of it than me or you.

There was never any real rumbling that Fromm should start over Eason from anyone who covers the program.

You miss the throw to take the lead against TN last year with 19 seconds left?

The key is to have an offense that is capable of controlling the flow of the game by making multiple first downs and not depending on those late game passes. Eason is a talented passer but lacks the football IQ and field general prowess that comes natural to Fromm.

It wasn't. We had 7 minutes to drive down the field on that Possession and we got a fieldgoal then our defense held and we got another possession then punted and then our defense held again.

They don't watch enough to form any credible opinion.

Kirby controls the narrative. Eason was the returning starter at qb. That's not the kind of guy that's gonna "lose" his job off the field. It would look bad.

Trying to get a handle on your line of thought. Why would Smart have to say that?

Looks like you answered my question above.

We would have had to beat App St 13-10 with Eason in there. The Offense was going nowhere.
