7 DUI's for me. My favorite was 1985... I was driving a pos Nissan pickup truck (manual shift) with my left foot hanging out of the window (try that sober). Per usual, my license was suspended. Lights come on and I pull over. Not ready to go to jail, I leave the engine running and put it in neutral. Cop approaches the truck and asks why my foot was out the window. I said I had a sprained ankle and was keeping it elevated. He asks to see my license. I say, "I ain't got one" and let the clutch out. Dude is at least 60 and I ran his frigging foot over. I'm thinking I've got him by a mile and the whole intersection blows up in blue lights. New Years Eve roadblock in Smyrna GA! About 15 minutes later I'm getting my arse beat by Marrieatta police in a ditch for "trying to kill 20 brother officers" when a Lt from Smyrna pulls me from the fray and threatens to arrest the next officer that puts his hands on me. I still think it was a good call to run as I ate a gram of blow during the chase and miraculously escaped with 13 misdemeanors and no felonies.

Another good one was 1983 driving in reverse down a one way street by the bus station in ATL with my lights out with a homeboy that was helping me look for some weed. I argued that at least I was going the right direction. Cop says, "only direction you are going is to jail." We both had a good laugh on that one.

Caught with weed 3 times but never charged. Got arrested at the Ho Jo on ATL Hwy in Dawg Town with Cocaine and did some time for that one. It's all fun and games until the highlight of your day is yard call...
