Hopefully chip learns from this presser. Kirby ain't gonna play the click bait game with him. That much is clear.

Haha... I think Chip wanted the "project" storyline to be the click bait.... Instead, it was Kirby not playing ball that was..

Mean Kirby was just a one time click story and the ajc has already used it up with multiple stories on it. Obviously, chip is gonna have to improve going forward or else he will continue to be treated as a hack.

Or maybe, gee, I don't know... could he have simply been asking a harmless Lorenzo Carter question for the piece on Lorenzo Carter he was working on???

I think he was doing that, but it was a stupid question. Every player on UGA's team is Smart's personal project.

I just think Smart doesn't like Chip Towers, which is reasonable. He probably needs to cool it a little bit, but one little snap at him isn't going to matter long-term.

He asked a leading question and it was not harmless. He isn't a dummy. That was his headline.

He could have simply asked how Lorenzo carter was doing, but he had to make an incorrect inference instead. Kirby shut that down as he learned from the master.

And so then he went and wrote the Lorenzo Carter piece he just published as a cover. Right....

Very diabolical of ol Chip.

I thought the part where he shut down Chip was pretty funny. Still, overall he's putting on a Busch league Saban cover band routine and he ain't even coached a game yet. I don't like it.

You love trumps act even though he hasn't been president for a day yet. You also hate how the media treats him. With Kirby, It's the exact opposite on both for you. You hate his non-PC answers and defend the media. At least try to be consistent.

He published the piece sans the title being Carter is Kirbys personal project , though he kinda snuck it in ththe meat of it...

I like Smart holding the cards close to the vest. I like it a lot.

I heard the clips on the radio, Kirby was a little snippy but its not like he threw a coke can at Chuck Oliver... And the question was a little douchey.

If Kirby wasnt so tight lipped on the two deep and other things, the media wouldnt have to grasp at straws for a headline.

If Kirby announced a starting qb today, this thread wouldnt exist.

Chip gets to be a little bitch when he has to do his job, but I like your idea! A Kirby-led jihad against that fat wad of lard, Chuck Oliver? Yes, please.

Not all of the questions were stupid. Hacks just need help and Kirby ain't giving it.

When he insults Loran Smith and starts offering investment advice, then I'll start worrying.

The media thinks they own and have privileged to all. If they don't get their way? Well, you saw the response.
