We run a Pro Offense with a semi-pro OL, semi-pro Receivers, and high school QBs.

Why is anyone surprised this isn't working?

Yep. This was always the likely outcome after we lost a record-setting OC, despite how people deluded themselves into thinking he somehow sucked.

Gerogia fans. When we have something good we criticize it into oblivion. Then we don't understand why nobody any good wants to come here.

"Bobo is awful!" Blo-bo....we've heard all the jabs, complaints and insults some on this board hurled at Bobo.

Now we get to sit here and do the same to Richt. When he is gone and we have to suffer with an inferior Head Coach they weill be calling for somebody elses head. Why? because if they scream to fir the coach every time we lose a game, it somehow makes them a great, caring fan.

I don't understand the hate for Schotty. We are six games into his tenure with major limitations at QB and we are still 6th nationally in yards per play.

It's what our fans do. After SC it was "bobo who?" and we were so sure of ourselves that he was outstanding. 3 games later and we're ready to run him out on a rail.

I love the internet for about 1000 different reasons but man it was probably so much more enjoyable being a fan before message boards.

I'd like to see a comparison stat for 3 & outs at this point of the season vs last yrs . It seems like this has been the worst season of Richts tenure for prolonged drives and punting. We can't turn field position for shite.

Oh yeah, reading the tiger rant during an LSU game is comedic gold. They are ready to crown or fire every player and staff member on every single play.

Does anyone think the results so far would be different if Bobo were still here? I guess you could argue for a win in TN but the bama game, not so much.

I think you could argue for a TN win, but we wouldnt' have beaten bama that day no matter what.

Of course it would be different. New scheme, lots to learn. Blocking, routes, reads...Ramsey may be starting and that kid that left that I was super excited about but can't remember his name may still be here.

And all of those records netted what, exactly? Yes, we could rack up yards, points, and wins....except when it counted. That's how people could think Bobo wasn't really all that great.

To be fair, it was the defense that has let us down these past few seasons.

If we could have stopped the run even remotely against Alabama in '12, we'd have a National Championship under Richt, IMO.

I don't think either one of our QBs can throw the middle of the field other than slants...effectively. Any pro QB can. DCs have figured this out. Scotty has an arm tied behind his back. We have to throw ( and catch) the deep ball more. That's the only way we are getting them on their heels.

That's a fair point, but for a "record-setting" offense, it should be able to overcome some defensive ineptitude, even if it has to make every game a track meet. Basically become a modified version of a PAC or WAC team, in other words.

booboo gave us 7 points in the UCF. I will say he was just as bad against bama as this new guy is.

That's not the criteria for being labeled a "record setting" offense.
